Current Global Financial Crisis - A result of Interest-Based Economy

A talk by Justice (retd.) Hazrat Moulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani (db) | March 22nd, 2009 5:40 PM

According to Hazrat Mufti Taqi global financial crisis is a direct result of ‘RIBA-BASED WORLD ECONOMY.’

After listening to Justice (retd.) Taqi please do take out time to listen to this lecture delivered by Peter Schiff, CEO of Euro Pacific Capital and author of ‘Crash Proof: How to Profit From the Coming Economic Collapse and How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes.’  This lecture series  was sponsored by Presidential candidate Ron Paul. Surprisingly for some, his diagnosis of the financial crisis is similar to Hazrat Mufti’s diagnosis. Policy prescriptions are different though.

This lecture may be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npJ0CUT8d_Y

Or if you don’t have time for the whole lecture please jump to 15:30 by clicking here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_popout&v=npJ0CUT8d_Y#t=932s

DO stay until 30:30 (i.e. for about 15 minutes) where Schiff says: ‘This whole thing (i.e. dollar-backed global economy) is PHONY.’

Similarly a few Stanford specialists in a talk titled: ‘Understanding the Financial Crisis and What It Means to You’ have arrived at different policy prescriptions but SAME diagnosis. They may be listened to by clicking here:
